Hubert Preschez
Managing Partner ODDO BHF Corporate Finance and Global Head of M&A
Hubert Preschez started his career in Mergers & Acquisitions at BNP Paribas. He then spent 11 years at J.P. Morgan in London working on industrial mergers and acquisitions before moving to the cross-industry M&A department in Paris. He then joined Société Générale where, as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions in France, he built up the Corporate Finance France department (M&A and ECM) while working as a senior banker for major French clients.
At HSBC, he headed the French Investment Banking teams (M&A, ECM, Structured Finance, Derivatives, Rating Advisory and Senior Coverage) with more than 90 employees.
Until August 2024, Hubert Preschez was Senior Partner of Jean-Marie Messier at Messier & Associés and member of the Executive Committee of Mediobanca IB.
Hubert Preschez holds a law degree from the University of Paris V and Sciences Po, where he has taught for 20 years. He joined ODDO BHF as Global Head of M&A in 2025.
