Bruno Cavalier

Chief economist

Bruno Cavalier joined ODDO BHF in 2007. He has more than 25 years of professional experience as an economist and market economist in the private sector, having worked in France for several think tanks and banks (COE-Rexecode, Crédit Lyonnais, Crédit Agricole) before joining ODDO BHF.
He graduated from the University of Paris 2 with a Ph.D. in Economics and a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance. In 2022, he won the Consensus Economics Forecast Accuracy Award for France.

Laurent Denize

Chief Investment Officer of ODDO BHF Asset Management & Group co-Chief Investment Officer

Laurent Denize joined ODDO BHF in 2012, initially working as Senior Bond Manager and Head of Investment Solutions before taking on the role of CIO in 2013. In 2022, he was additionally appointed co-CIO of the ODDO BHF Group. Previously, Laurent Denize founded and managed successively two asset management companies: Anakena Finance, then DDF Exclusive. Prior to that, he also worked as Head of Equity-Linked Products trading for Ixis CIB and as Head of the Credit Investment Portfolio for Calyon. He started his career in 1992 at Credit Lyonnais, first as Fixed Income Arbitragist and later Credit and Trading. 

Laurent Denize holds an actuarial degree from University Paris VI and a Master’s degree from ESC Toulouse. He also holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the Lyon II University.

Prof. Dr. Jan Viebig

Chief Investment Officer of ODDO BHF Private Wealth Management & Group co-Chief Investment Officer

Prof. Dr. Jan Viebig is Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of ODDO BHF SE and Managing Director of ODDO BHF Trust GmbH. He is thus also responsible for the Polaris fund range of ODDO BHF Asset Management.

Prior to joining ODDO BHF SE, he held senior positions at Swiss Vontobel Asset Management, Credit Suisse and DWS Investment, among others, as an economist with a doctorate and a post-doctoral degree. In addition to his activities in the financial world, he teaches at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.
