Our Commitment

ODDO BHF STIFTUNG

The most important pillar of our corporate citizenship activities is the non-profit ODDO BHF Stiftung Foundation. The foundation was set up in 1999 and supports initiatives that generate forward-thinking and groundbreaking ideas for life in German society. The ODDO BHF Foundation concentrates on two areas: social and scientific projects with a socio-political background, and the contemporary arts and upcoming artists. It is an operating foundation and in many cases it thus also provides the ideas and topics for new projects. It fosters projects that go beyond the beaten path in order to draw on unconventional ideas to address old and new topics. The work of the foundation is based on the conviction that trying out new things and exploring our creative potential is vital for life in our society.

Objectives:

  • Support initiatives that contribute to the development of society
  • Promote new ways of thinking to respond to social problems

Areas of commitment

Scientific projects with social impact

  • Frankfurter Forum für Interdisziplinäre Alternswissenschaften(FFIA) (Frankfurt Forum for Interdisciplinary Ageing Research) - This project focuses on shaping the living conditions of elderly people.
