Matthias Desmarais is Head of ODDO BHF Equities in charge of the research department. Before joining ODDO BHF in 2014, Matthias Desmarais worked at Exane BNP Paribas where he was Head of Research in Paris, supervising the animation of the research office while managing the Leisure & Services team. Matthias Desmarais began his career in 1999 as an Investment Banking Analyst with BNP Paribas Corporate Finance in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Between 2001 and 2004, he worked on financial analysis of the hotel and leisure sectors, first with JP Morgan Securities in London and then with CDC Ixis Securities in Paris. From 2004 to 2007, he was responsible for the teams in charge of the hotel and leisure sectors at SG Securities in Paris. Matthias Desmarais graduated from the University Panthéon-Assas Paris 2 in Banking and Finance and holds a master's degree in Audit & Consulting from ESCP Paris.
Stéphane Houri is Head of Equity Research. Before joining ODDO BHF in 2018, Stéphane was Head of Equity Research at Natixis since 2014, leading the transformation of the research product and its integration into a wider Global Market Research product, including Macroeconomic and Credit Research. Stéphane Houri began his career in 1998 as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen. Between 2001 and 2005, he worked as a financial analyst at Fortis Bank, then moved in 2005 at Havas Group as Head of Investor relations. From 2007 to 2014, he led the Tech Research team at Natixis. Stephane Houri graduated from the University Panthéon Sorbonne Paris 1 in Banking and Finance and holds a master's degree in International Management from Paris 1 as well.
Christophe Quesnel is currently Head of the Fixed Income Department. He joined the ODDO BHF Group in 2012 after a career in asset management. Until 2019 he was Head of Trading in the Fixed Income department. Previously, Christophe Quesnel was Managing Director - Director of Management at GestionValor, the management company of the Le Conservateur Group. He is a graduate of the University of Leicester and the University of Le Havre, where he obtained a DESS in International Banking and Finance.
